"...prevention
is the hallmark of this division's activities, and has resulted in a fleet
of EMS units unmatched for their safe and reliable performance..."
---Bruce Trzepacz, Fleet Manager
An experienced staff of dedicated technicians, working in a state-of-the-art modern facility, proudly supports Rural/Metro Medical Services. Our shop is set up with three above ground hydraulic lifts, complimented by five adjacent flat bays. In addition, we are equipped with an extensive parts inventory that enables us to provide a premier standard of excellence in vehicular service and maintenance.

FLEET SERVICE PROGRAM:
Specialized computer software allows acute attention to detail in planned maintenance scheduling and addressing driver concerns. Comprehensive preventative maintenance is performed on each ambulance at regular intervals to minimize down time and to ensure the consistent reliability of all Rural/Metro vehicles.
Replacement of major vehicle components is performed at pre-determined intervals to prevent breakdowns. This stringent and calculated fleet service program has a proven track record that allows our paramedics a high level of confidence in the safety and reliability of their vehicles.
FLEET AND EQUIPMENT:
Rural/Metro Medical Services operates the largest fleet of medical transportation vehicles in the Buffalo metropolitan area. All of our ambulances are registered with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, and are also certified by the New York State Department of Health as containing the equipment required by Part 800 of the Codes, Rules, and Regulations. Meeting the requirements of the code includes the uniform labeling and painting, and clear designation of Rural/Metro as the operating authority for each unit.
