Scheduling

The Scheduling Department of Rural/Metro Western New York utilizes Net Scheduler Pro, a state of the art web-based interactive scheduling program, which allows employees continuous access to individual schedules. The Department is responsible for scheduling over 550 full-time, part-time and per diem employees.

Rural/Metro also offers coverage for a variety of Special Events, including the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Bisons, Shea's Performing Arts Center, Kleinhans, Erie County Fair and many other venues across Western New York. Should you have an upcoming event needing EMS coverage, click on the Special Events button at the left, or contact our Special Events Supervisor at 716.882.8400, extension 338.

These hours are available to assist you with your scheduling and payroll needs, including time switches, PTO request, open shift bid, daily open shifts, and payroll questions. After hours, all calls and inquiries are forwarded to the Communications Crew Chief, which allows 24/7 coverage for any scheduling concerns.
