Rural/Metro – where the lives you change include your own!
Are you a veteran of Emergency Medical Services looking for a change, or are you interested in beginning a career where answering the cry for help is all in a day's work?
People's lives depend on the quick reaction and competent care of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and Paramedics. If you want your daily routine to include helping people, we invite you to join our team of professionals. Standout candidates may take advantage of excellent benefits, including competitive, experience-based pay.
Rural/Metro Medical Services requires that our pre-hospital care providers hold a current and valid New York State EMT-D or AEMT certification. Certification is available through Erie Community College, or visit the New York State Department of Health Bureau of EMS training Web site for other EMT training locations.
Reciprocity is available for those people with National Registry, or other out-of-state certifications, on an individual basis. Please visit the New York State Department of Health Bureau of EMS reciprocity Web site for reciprocity applications or for more information.
